WHY I CHOSE JOGA

MY JOGA
STORY

So why do I choose JOGA? Because it speaks to athletes and this is the KEY!!!

JOGA makes yoga relevant to athletes because it was designed by experts (athletes, yoga teachers, movement professionals) who understand the mindset and bodies of athletes. I love JOGA because it’s an intelligent and science backed program created to enhance performance and create balance in body and mind. The more athletes using JOGA the greater the program continues to evolve.

JOGA is not a one size fits all program. No one body is the same. With different sports come different seasons, positions, etc. and only JOGA has the versatility to accommodate. I love that JOGA can be tailored to meet athlete’s needs based on where they are in there training cycle/season. JOGA can serve as an amazing cross training practice during the off season to increase core strength and overall strength and endurance.

As training intensifies or when an athlete is in the height of their season JOGA’s restorative silent victory sequences and breath work formats provide mental focus and recovery. It’s a great plug and play system.

As an avid runner, and new mom JOGA has been a terrific complement to my sport, so I can 100% say that this system works. I know what it feels like to be tight and tired, and I know there’s a JOGA segment that can work for wherever I am energetically.

My mission is to spread as much awareness to athletes in my area about how JOGA can increase ones potential in sport and life. Most people have no idea how good their bodies are designed to feel.

ARE SAYING

“Yoga can be an integral part of the off-season training of any athlete. It is important, however, to find an instructor who understands the demands of your sport and the strength and conditioning program. Jana and the JOGA staff have a done a great job of tailoring a program to meet the needs of my athletes and are willing and able to customize their sessions based on my feedback.”
